The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP) is known as India’s oldest and largest education board. The board was established 98 years ago during the British time period. Its headquarter is situated in Allahabad (currently known as Prayagraj).
Being the largest and oldest education board in India as well as in Asia, the UP Board is responsible for conducting board examination of more than 32 lakh students every year. Maintaining the timely completion of examination activities is a huge responsibility of the UP Board.
UPMSP conducts board examination for 10th and 12th class annually in the month of February/March. This year the board examination for the 10th class was ended on February 28, 2019.
Therefore, the UP Board has decided the result will be announced in the last week of April i.e., between 20-25th April 2019. The result will be published online and students can check their result on the official website of UP Board.

UP Board 10th class result declaration
Being the largest board in terms of the number of students, the UP board organize board examination activities very effectively as there is always a risk of leaking the information related to examination papers or board result. Checking examination copies, gathering marks data from all districts and publishing result are always a huge task for the board. Even though the board does complete all the task within the time limit.
Last year the board result of 10th class was announced on April 29, 2018. As this year the examination was ended in February, the result will be announced in April 2019 like the last year. After announcing the result, the board will publish it online on the official website of UP Board at www.upmsp.edu.in. The students will be able to check and download it from there any time after the announcement.
How to check/download UP Board 12th Class Result
As the competition of getting the highest marks among students is increasing every year, the excitement of knowing the result has also heightened. Therefore, not to make anything difficult for the students, we are providing simple steps below to check the result:
- Step 1: First, the students need to visit the official website of UP board at www.upmsp.edu.in.
- Step 2: At the home page of the website, look for the link related to the result and click on it.
- Step 3: The link will take students to a new page where you need to fill the details such as roll number, name or DOB etc.
- Step 4: There will be an option available for downloading the result. Download it and take a printout of the result for future reference.
UP Board 10th Class Supplementary examination 2019 result
Like many other state education board in India, the UP board also gives another opportunity to those students who failed the main board examination by 1 or 2 subjects. The board gives another chance to the students to reappear for the examination and can have a chance to clear the class in the same year.
Generally, the supplementary examination takes place after a month or so of main board examination result and date is only finalized only after the main result announcement. This year it is assumed that the supplementary examination will be held in June and the result will be announced in the first week of August.
The supplementary examination result will also be available on the official website of UP Board and the Students can check their result by following the same steps mentioned above in the article. However, all they need to search for the supplementary examination result link instead of 10th board result link, the rest of the process is same.
UP Board 10th class toppers list 2018
On April 29, 2018, the result of UP Board 10th class was announced. The overall pass percentage of the students was 75.16%. There were 1062 boys and 786 girls who scored more than 90% in the 10th class result. However, if we look at the list of toppers, the girls again outshine boys by snatching the first three places in the merit list.
