The Borad of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE) came into existence in November 3, 1955 and run by the state government. Its headquarter is situated in Cuttack. The main purpose of the board is to regulate and develop various courses in all the affiliated schools in the state which helps students to prepare for the next level in universities, occupations and various cultural purposes. The board is also responsible for conducting examinations on different levels and providing scholarships to the students excellent in their fields.
The examination for all the streams was finished in March 2019 and the BSE has decided that the result for all the streams will be announced in May 2019 without any delay. The result will be published online on the official website of Odisha Board and the students will be able to check it.

Odisha Board 12th class result declaration
As soon as the board examination will be finished, the other task such as checking copies and collecting marks data from all the schools will be finished within a month or so and after that the board will try to publish the result as soon as possible.
Last year there was a time difference in declaring the results of all the streams. The result of science stream was announced on May 19, 2018 whereas the result for arts and commerce stream was announced on June 9, 2018.
However, this year the board has decided to declare the result of all the streams together unlike last year. As the examination was finished in March, the students can expect their result in May 2019.
When all the formalities related to the result will be completed, the board will publish the result online. The students can check and download it from the official website (www.bseodisha.nic.in) of Odisha Board.

For checking the result the students have to follow the simple steps given below:
- Step 1: Login to the official website of Odisha Board at www.bseodisha.nic.in and look for the link related to the results.
- Step 2: Click on the link and it will redirect you to a new page window.
- Step 3: Submit the details required after filling it.
- Step 4: Now you will be able to see your result details.
- Step 5: You will find a download button on the page. Download it and take a printout of it for future purpose.

When the result will be publish online the students will be able to see the below details on their online result:
- Student’s name
- Father’s name
- Roll number
- Examination center’s name
- Student’s Photograph
- Marks obtained in each subject
Odisha Board 12th Class Supplementary examination result
The supplementary examination is another opportunity to clear the same class in the same year. The supplementary examination procedure is same as the main board examination and the students have to go through with the same. This is really a good chance for those students who failed the main examination because of less marks in any one subject. Therefore, through supplementary examination they can clear their backlog subject.
The supplementary examination this year will be conducted on June 2019 and result can be expected in the month of July 2019. As the number of students appearing for the supplementary examination are very less comparatively main exams, the time taken in declaring the result will less that the usual. However, the final dates of supplementary examination and result will be decided by the board after main board examination result.

Statics of Odisha Board 2018 Result
When the result of science stream of Odisha Board announced last year, it showed the tremendous success. There were total 41 students who scored more than 90% in which 28 students were boys and 13 girls. The highest pass percentage in Odisha board was 92.23% which was recorded in Nayagarh disctrict. In arts stream Puri district recorded the highest pass percentage with 79.87%. In commerce stream also Nayagarh district recorded the highest pass percent with 95.59%.
