The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) was formed on September 20, 2001. It is run by the state government of Chhattisgarh. Its headquarter is situated in Raipur. The board is responsible for developing and promoting secondary education in Chhattisgarh state.
Every year the Chhattisgarh Board conducts the board examination in March and the result is announced in May. This year the board examination of 12th class was started from March 2, 2019 and ended in March 29, 2019. Therefore, the board has announced that the result will be declared in the early weeks of May.
The board will publish the result online so that everyone can get the result details everywhere on time. The result will be available on the official website of Chhattisgarh Board and students can check it any time.

Chhattisgarh Board 12th class result declaration
Every year the board declare the result in May. However, there is no fix date for that. The result is being declared on the basis of the speed of the examination procedure. Generally it takes 30-45 days to declare the result after the examination.
As this year the examination was finished in March so the students can expect the result in the early weeks of May month. Last year the result was announced on May 9, 2018.
As soon as the result will be declared, it will be published online on the official website of Chhattisgarh Board at www.cgbse.nic.in and the students will be able to check and download it from there.
Chhattisgarh Board 12th Class Supplementary examination result
After the main board examination there will be supplementary examination for those students who were able to clear the examination in one attempt. The supplementary examination will start in June and the result will be announced in July 2019.
Though last year the announcement of supplementary examination was got delay and declared on August 10, 2018. Delay in result made it difficult for the students to take admission on their desired colleges as in most of the college the admissions were already started in July.
This year students can expect their result early than last year and will be declared in July. Though the exact date will be decided after the announcement of the main board result. The students will be able to get their result online at their official website like main board results.
How to check Chhattisgarh Board 12th Class result
The board tries hard to make the result available as soon as possible on the official website with the easiest way possible to check it. Here we are providing simple steps below to check/download the result of both main and supplementary board examination :
- Step 1: Go to the official website of Chhattisgarh Board at www.cgbse.nic.in and search for the link related to the result.
- Step 2: Click on the link which will redirect you to the new page.
- Step 3: Fill the details such as Roll number or registration number and you will be able to see the result details.
- Step 4: From here you can download the result and take a print out of it for future purpose.
Chhattisgarh Board 12th class toppers list 2018
In 2018 there were more than 2.5 lakh students who appeared for the 12th board examination in which only 77% students were able to clear the examination.The passing percentage of this year was less than the passing percentage of last years. In 2016 there were 79.62% and in 2015 there were 83.73% passed the Chhattisgarh board examination.
However, once again lake many other states and the past years, the pass percentage of girls was more than the boys. There were 79.40% girls passed whereas 74.45% boys were able to pass the examination.
